Our story begins with the figure of Piotr Mrugalski, associated with the automotive industry from the very beginning of his career. First, on his own, he imported new cars of various brands from Western Europe to Poland, and in 1993 he set up his first own company, authorized by Ford – Bemo Motors.
Initially, cars were sold from a small, modest facility, which could accommodate only 3 or 4 cars at a time. It was located in Poznań, at Mogileńska Street, exactly where the new, much larger headquarters of the company are now located.

This is how our upward march on the road to becoming one of the largest independent dealer groups in Poland began. The first way to develop was to multi-branch. In 2001, we decided to venture beyond Poznań to Szczecin, which is over 240 kilometers away. In 2004, we opened a Bemo store in Koszalin – Stare Bielice, and a year later another branch in Poznań, at ul. Opłotki. All authorized by Ford.
After territorial development, the time has come to expand the portfolio of our automotive brands. In 2005, we bought the Auto Bruno company from Szczecin, which was associated with Volvo. In 2008, as part of the group, we started the operation of the Auto Club brand with the authorization of Hyundai. In the meantime, our second Ford location in Szczecin was created, and in the Bemo Group we added a new element of the structure: the Auto Studio brand, behind which there is a premium authorization from the Mercedes brand. The crowning achievement of our development was the appearance of Bemo Motors in the capital of Poland, where a Ford showroom was established, and the subsequent expansion of our brand offer with Mazda and Peugeot.
For several years, the Bemo Group has been jointly managed by Piotr Mrugalski and his son, Błażej Mrugalski, who was prepared for a responsible role from an early age. He gained his experience and knowledge by cooperating with all departments, participating in their daily work.
The successive development of our dealership portfolio continues. In 2014, we started selling and providing maintenance services for the Peugeot brand in Poznań, and in 2018 for the Citroen brand. Since then, the DS brand has also appeared in the Group, of which the Bemo Group is today the only dealer and authorized service point in the Wielkopolskie Voivodeship.
Today, Auto Club has showrooms in Poznań, at ul. Opłotki 15, and in Złotniki, at ul. Obornicka 4. Both facilities have been offering Peugeot and Citroen vehicles since last year, and since February this year they have added the Opel brand to their portfolio. In 2023, we opened a location in Łódź offering Opel cars, two locations in Swarzędz (Citroen, Peugeot, Opel and Hyundai separately) and a location in Szczecin, supplementing the Auto Club network with Citroen and Peugeot brands.
In 2023, the Group opened a multi-brand facility in Falenty near Warsaw at Aleja Krakowska 8, where under one roof it offers the Opel and Hyundai brands as well as new brands in the portfolio: Alfa Romeo, Jeep and Fiat. An authorized service center for the Dodge, Chrysler and RAM brands was also opened on site.
The end of 2023 was also a large investment in a new brand on the Polish market – MG Motor. The Bemo Group started selling MG vehicles under the MG GB brand, opening a showroom in Warsaw’s Ursynów district at ul. Romera 14 and inviting the first customers to the location in Poznań, at ul. Obornicka 4 in Jelonek and Wrzesińska 178 in Swarzędz.
